The oh so cool home of a Swedish photographer

Morning! This is the oh so cool home of talented Swedish wedding photographer Therese Winberg. Shot by Therese and styled by Anna Malmgren for Plaza Interiör, the space appeared on several blogs late last year and I missed it (I know, I think I was to busy enjoying my Christmas glögg!). It's such a fabulous home I thought I'd better share it in case you missed it too?! The space is the perfect blend of old and new and teeming with the latest design trends (hello geometric kitchen floor, scallop fronted dresser, grey marble surfaces..) . There is so much inspiration from this place I'm not sure where to start, but I'll certainly be pinning every picture!

What do you love most about this home?

Personally, I'd like Therese's bright coloured collection of sneakers!

Because it'd be rude not to:  here are some beautiful homes tours of other Swedish photographers: Jakob Nyland, Helena Blom, and Jonas Ingerstedt.  It's official: Swedish photographers have fabulous homes!

Have a lovely day!

Danish inspiration from Oyoy

Oj oj oj (as they say in Sweden!), but what's not to love about the relatively new Danish brand Oyoy?! Led by designer Lotte Fynboe, Oyoy's vision is to design functional products using high quality materials in beautiful colours and shapes.

Oyoy

So many patterns and geometric shapes! Really lovely. It's definitely worth checking out their website here.

I am sitting nervously waiting to hear baby news from my wonderful friends David and Ullis who are in hospital on this stormy January day. Fingers crossed for you guys, thinking of you! x

Monochrome, geometrics and neon in Helsinki

This home of interior designer and stylist Susanna Vento and family in Helsinki, Finland is, well, HOT!! The geometric shapes in bold colours against the monochrome and that all important touch of neon.....not to mention the fir tree wallpaper and touches of scandinavian design......

Amy Azzarito from Design Sponge via Today You Inspired Me
I spy elements of IKEA (the black and white rug unde the dining room table) a Smeg fridge, (what colour would you choose?!) the utensilo storage, plus many little touches of Scandinavian design.

This little Helsinki haven will make my heart sing all the way back to Sweden today!
